Liebster award : My second nomination

Liebster again? Like I mean the second nomination?? Wow...truly. While i don’t blog much ( meaning not daily or like that) and the writing is shared only among my friends and no one else, its a pleasant surprise to be nominated again for the award. Feels just like getting an award for bravery and then being called up again for one.

This time the nomination came from Dipali http://sharmadipali.blogspot.in , a fellow blogger whose facebook wall and group becomes flooded with my crazy thoughts when i decide to share what crazy thoughts i write. This being my second nomination in just 2 days, feels great. J

So I thank Dipali to nominate my crazy blog and even crazier writing for leibster once again.

The rules remain the same -

1. Acknowledge the nominating blogger.

2. Answer the questions the nominating blogger has created for you.

3. List 10 bloggers who you think deserve recognition (having less than 200 followers)

4. Post 10 questions for the nominees to answer.

5. Let all of the bloggers know about their nomination.

6. The person nominating you cant be nominated again...they can only be thanked.

Coming to the questions now-

1. Why did you start blogging?

I wanted a place where i could put down my thoughts at one place which could be read whenever i wanted. Just like a diary which people keep and write. This blog is my diary of my thoughts and emotions.

2. How did you choose the title of your blog and how is it relevant to what you write?

Every thought of mine now becomes a memory in the future or I put down some memories of my past here so the name is relevant to what I write – Memories.

3. If you could travel anywhere in this world, where would you go?

Send me anywhere where i can decode mysteries – of the paranormal, to hunt for treasures being told about since ages and places which can give me a chance to try new cuisines.

4. What is your favourite book and why?

All the childhood comics- Chacha Chaudhary, Champak, Billoo, Pinki, Lotpot because they bring my childhood back and had such stories which cant be matched by the cartoon serials of today.

5. Who is your biggest inspiration?

I am not inspired by anyone. I cant copy others in anything. Lets skip this one.

6 . If you were writing an autobiography, what would the title be?

Unpredictable yet yummy

7. Do you have any short term/ long term goals that you’re working towards?

My only goal is to live life and experience something new. Short term/ long term goals look good on CVs and in board meetings.

8. If you could pick one character from a book to be your best friend, who would you pick and why?

Whoa...now this is quite descriptive and i`ll try to be honest. There are a lot of books and characters I have read that I cant pick one of them at once. Lets pick this up by heart. I like reading Durjoy dutta`s novels on Deb and Avantika. ( Dont blame me, I am a romantic at heart). For my best friend i would surely pick up Avantika. She`s beautiful, smart, at times childish, confident. Something which would make her the ideal best friend for me...and you never know , best friends fall in love.

9. How long have you been blogging? What was the experience like?

I started blogging in May 2007. So basically its been a journey close to 7 years if you don’t consider the sort of break i took during my mba days. Its tough to explain the experience as it has seen a lot of things- happiness, sadness, a place to put down my sorrows and matters of the heart which no body gets to read ( except my closest friends). This journey has also given me a different type of recognition in the blogger circle, blogger meets and my poetry group and has given me a damn special circle of awesome friends. More than Shwetabh mathur , the identity of Shwetabh Mathur, the blogger is now more famous among my childhood and school friends ( laughing).

10. What is one of your fondest childhood memories?

The days when i used to colour everything green (because its my favourite colour).... and still continue to love everything thats green.
