बेटी बचाओ नहीं, अब बेटी को बचाओ

तब कोट काले थे मगर नियत पाक साफ थी

अब कोट भी काले हैं और नियत भी

तब न्याय दिला कर झंडे का मान रखा करते थे

अब झंडा दिखा कर खुद गुनाहगार को बचाने की कोशिश करते हैं

बेटी बचाओ के जुमले से हकीकत न जाने कब बेटी को बचाओ में 

तब्दील हो गयी

दिल्ली की निर्भया से आसिफा और उन्नाव का सफर न जाने कब तय 

हो गया

वो दरिंदे तब भी थे, वो दरिंदे आज भी हैं

तब कुछ बेनाम लोग से थे, आज नामी सत्ताधारी हैं

देश की आन के लिए बहुत सी बेटियां आज उस पराये देश में सोने , 

चांदी, ताँबे के पदकों के लिए लड़ रही हैं

वहीँ मेरे देश में बहुत सी बच्चियां अपनी इज़्ज़त, आबरू और जान 

बचाने के लिए लड़ रही हैं

हम लोगों का ज़मीर भी सो सो कर जागता है

8 साल की बच्ची की रूह भी तड़प गयी होगी अब तब, तब हमें याद 

आया अब कि उसको इन्साफ नहीं मिला

धर्म और सत्ता की राजनीती के आगे न मिले इन्साफ का आक्रोश 

कहीं गुम सा हो गया है

इस देश में बेटियों को एक सुरक्षित ज़िन्दगी देने की मन्नत में न जाने 

किसकी नज़र लग गयी है

ये चरम सीमा की हैवानियत है साहब, न जाने कब ख़त्म होगी


The political system of this country is utter crap and no political party is god-like just like many followers tout them to be. Rapes in Jammu and Unnao just to name a few by people in power, state govts. registering cases only after Supreme Court orders them, helping the accused,  so called crap politicians ,lawyers and  ministers helping them, drama out of the house as a wife of the main accused saying that his husband is innocent and all that. We have failed as a nation and all that momentary nationalism on 26 jan and 15 aug is just show off.
We care about fast justice only when cows are killed, religion comes into the fore,worried only about turning it into a hindu nation and all that but when it comes to humans, we are worse than devils.
Its time to save the daughters from the devils that lurk and also from those in power..
